CPHS Graduation Requirements vs University Entrance Requirements
Need to change any information on your UC application after you've submitted it?
Update your application
You can log in to your application to review and, if necessary, update your telephone number, email, mailing address or various test scores. You can also apply to additional campuses if they're still open.
- If you change schools or add or drop a course after you submit your application, you should notify all the campuses you applied to, except for UC Berkeley, UC San Diego and UC Santa Barbara.
- If you failed to earn a C or better in a course after you submit your application, you should notify all the campuses you applied to, except for UC Berkeley.
- If you receive an offer of admission, be sure to confirm with the campus admission office that they are aware of any deficient grades or schedule changes.
Keep in mind: We cannot guarantee that a campus can go back to review an application after correspondence has been received. Make sure to save a copy of your correspondence, just in case.
Campus instructions & websites for reporting changes:
- Davis
- Berkeley will not accept post-submission updates. Updates will not be considered in the application reading process.
- Irvine
- Merced - Academic updates are allowed only if you are admitted. To make updates, use the “myCourseUpdate” link in your connect portal.
- UCLA - Some post-submission updates will be accepted. Visit the UCLA contact page for further details.
- Riverside
- San Diego will not accept post-submission updates. Updates will not be considered in the application reading process.
- Santa Barbara will not accept post-submission updates. Updates will not be considered in the application reading process.
- Santa Cruz
If there are changes to other sections of your application:
Minor changes to your activities, awards, volunteer work or employment are unlikely to have an impact on your admission decision. Changes to the Activities & awards and PIQ sections will not be accepted once your application is submitted.
As a reminder, once your application is submitted, you cannot unsubmit or submit a duplicate application. Duplicate applications will be canceled.
FAFSA & CA Dream Act
The California Department of Education and the California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) urges all California high school seniors to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application (CADAA). Filing financial aid applications is the first step toward college success and helps eligible students qualify for federal, state, and campus-based aid as well as some private scholarships.
Attention Juniors!
We will be offering the PSAT/NMSQT during the last week in October (week of the 28th). The exam will be during the school day and I will be assigning a testing time when we get closer to the dates. The exam costs $25 and is only open to juniors. Registration is currently open on the College Park Webstore (use the provided link). Registration will close on September 6th at noon. The PSAT is an optional practice exam for the SAT.
If you have a 504 or IEP plan and are requesting College Board accommodations you must email me at waltersd@mdusd.org to make your request. Upon receiving your official request, I will make the request via the College Board on your behalf. You must make the request by September 2nd - the College Board has hard cut off dates. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to reach out.
