BACKGROUND:Following matriculation from Northgate High School, I attended the University of California, Berkeley. While there, I was exposed to teaching through the Berkeley School Volunteers. I attended California State University, East Bay to attain my teaching credential. Through my experience working in education, I realized how much academia shapes the world. It is amazing to see how high schools are a gateway to a brighter future through academic advancement.
OUTSIDE INTERESTS:I am a proud member of the Contra Costa County Historical Society.
