Graduation

A visible state-issued plate or placard is required to use an accessible parking spot. Guests needing assistance who do not have a placard will need to use the rideshare drop off area in C-Lot, then enter through the main entrance. Accessible parking is subject to availability and first-come, first-served. Toyota Pavilion at Concord honors any state-issued accessible parking placard for a vehicle that fits in a 9’ x 18’ parking space without impeding the people on either side of your vehicle. To ensure you can park as close as possible, we recommend arriving when the parking gates open.

To ensure all of our guests can enjoy the viewing and celebration of their graduate, we ask that families do not bring balloons and noise-makers into the stands during the ceremony.

Posters and pompoms are welcome, but please be mindful of guests seated behind you.

After the ceremony, students may pick up their diplomas by the concession stands near the entrance.  Diplomas will be handed out by the student's counselor, so students should line up by counselor.

Only the graduate may pick up the diploma.   

All fees must be paid in advance before the diploma will be released.  If a student recieves "fee form" in their diploma case, they must meet with the treasurer the next day to clear any fines and then pick up their diploma.

Keep your diploma in a safe place!

Graduates will wear the approved cap, gown, and tassel during the ceremony. Clothing worn underneath must adhere to our dress code policy.

Upon entering the Concord Pavillion facility, students must walk in with their robes unzipped so that College Park staff can ensure that student's outfits are school appropriate.

Shoes

Please keep in mind that certain shoes, such as high heels, may be challenging to walk in due to the number of stairs.

Leis
Graduates may wear cultural or religious attire.

Medals & Awards
Graduates who earned a medal or stole are encouraged to wear it at over their gowns during the ceremony.

Etc.
No noisemakers, beach balls, or individual outbursts.

Admission to the ceremony is free; however, there is a $21 charge to park.  Passes can be purchased in advance or at the Pavillion upon driving in.

Students must provide their own transportation to and from the rehearsal and graduation.

Tickets are NOT required for entrance to the Pavillion as all seating is first come, first serve. 

Schedule for the day of graduation:

• Rehearsal: 
  • 8:15am - Seniors will report to the Concord Pavilion (students will transport themselves).
  • 9:00 AM - Rehearsal practice
• Graduation Ceremony: 
  • 5:00pm - Seniors should report to the west entrance of the Concord Pavilion
  • 6:00 PM - Final check-in and diploma order confirmation
  • 6:30 PM – Lines will begin moving toward the entrance
  • 7:00 PM – Ceremony begins with “Pomp and Circumstance”
  • 9:00pm - ceremong concludes and graduates can pick up their diplomas near the entrance of the Pavillion from their counselor
