 Welcome to all returning and new students to CPHS,

We are very excited to opening the 2022-2023 school year on campus for all of our students. Please take a moment to review our 2022-2023 Walk-Thru Schedule below. 

NOTE: Please read the 2022 Walk-Thru & 9th Residency Verification Instructions prior to Walk-Thru to make sure you understand the process and have completed all online forms prior to arriving for your in-person Walk-Thru time slot.  In order to make this process efficient PLEASE COMPLETE ONLINE FORMS PRIOR TO WALK-THRU

At Walk-Thru students will be able to do the following:

  • Pick up class schedule
  • Pick up textbooks
  • Receive locker and locker buddy assignments
  • Turn in forms

Make -Up Walk-Thru will be held on Wednesday, August 10th from 9 am -11 am at College Park. 

Students who can not attend their Walk-Thru day or Make-Up Walk-Thru will need to come on August 11 beginning at 7:30 AM in the College Park MU.
Additionally, if you cannot attend your Walk-Thru day, you can come any day after that to go through the process.
Example - If you are a senior and cannot attend on August 3, you can attend on August 4th.

School Photos will NOT be taken during Walk-Thru. We will be taking photos in school during the week of August 15.

Freshman Orientation/New To College Park:

Our Freshman Orientation event, presented by College Park's Link Crew, will be on the morning of Friday, August 5, from approximately 8 AM-12 PM. We will provide additional information prior to the event.

First Day of School is Thursday, August 11 at 8:30 AM.

College Park Walk-thru Process

Complete MDUSD’s Data Verification process via your parent HomeLink account. View the 2022 Walk-Thru & 9th Residency Verification INSTRUCTIONS.  You must have a parent HomeLink account to complete the Data Verification (NOT A STUDENT ACCOUNT). HomeLink is available as of August 1.

The District needs current emails, updated emergency contacts with current phone numbers, and current medical information for your child. Accurate data is vital for your child's safety. If you have any questions related to the online process, please contact the College Park main office at (925) 682-7670.

THIS PROCESS MUST BE COMPLETED IN ORDER FOR STUDENTS TO RECEIVE THEIR CLASS SCHEDULE.

All 9th grade families are required to provide three forms of documentation to verify residency for attending CPHS.  Download the residency verification form and visit CPHS with the required documents. Residency verification must be completed in the office, before students go through Walk-Thru.  This process needs to be completed by a parent/guardian and cannot be done online.

Residency Verification Dates:

Wednesday, July 27 9:00 am - 12:00 noon

Thursday, July 28 9:00 am - 12:00 noon and 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Friday, July 29 9:00 am - 12:00 noon

We will have a Residency Verification make-up:

August 2: 8:30 am-11:30 

August 3: 8:30 am - 11:30 am and 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm

August 11: 7:30 am

  1. Completed Emergency Card from a PARENT HomeLink account
  2. Locker agreement
  3. Military release form (grades 11 & 12 only)
  4. One photo ID of student; i.e., school ID from previous years, passport, driver’s license, etc.  Showing the student’s Aeries/HomeLink photo profile on his/her phone is also permissible.  TIP:  Take a picture of your photo ID on your phone to bring to Walk-Thru.
  5. Backpack/bag to carry books in.

Purchase the 2022-2023 Yearbook (available for pick-up towards the end of May 2023) on the Webstore. Receipt (needed for pick-up in May) can be printed later in the "Orders" option in the account used to make the purchase. 

If you have purchased a 2021-2022 yearbook and have not yet picked it up, it will be available for pick up during walk thru at the Treasurer's Window.

Join the PTSA and make a donation online. The College Park PTSA works to enhance the academic and social experience of every student at the school, but we need your support to make it happen!

When arriving on campus, look for signage to direct you through four stations to complete the Walk-Thru process.  Volunteers will be on-hand to guide students through the process.  

What if I cannot complete my address verification for my 9th grade student? 

You will not, under any circumstances, be allowed to complete Walk-Thru if you cannot verify your address. By District mandate there are no exceptions to this policy. We recommend speaking to your assigned VP PRIOR TO Walk-Thru if you do not believe you can show proof of residency.  Download the residency verification form here and visit CPHS with the required documents. Will my student have a school photo taken during Walk-Thru?

No. A temporary identification card will be distributed at Walk-Thru to be used until the permanent student photos and ID cards are available. Students will have a scheduled day to take their school photos this year during the week of August 15.

May I obtain my student's schedule before Walk-Thru? 

No. Schedules are not available in advance. 

May I attend Walk-Thru if my student cannot attend?

Yes, you can.  Parents are welcome to attend with their student.

How do I obtain a PE clothes prior to the start of school?

Please visit the Treasurer's Office webpage for information on how to purchase PE clothes.

How long will Walk-Thru take?

If you come prepared and have completed online forms in advance, we anticipate the process taking approximately 30-45 minutes.   

My student's schedule is wrong or is missing a class. What should I do?  

If there is an error or a concern with your class schedule, fill out the Google Form through the QR code at Station 4.

How do I obtain a parking permit?

Please visit the Treasurer's Office webpage for information on how to obtain a Parking Permit.

When is the first day of school?  

Thursday, August 11 at 8:30 AM.

Where do I pick up a yearbook?

Yearbooks will be available for pick-up in May when they arrive.
