WASC Accreditation
We had a very successful WASC visit and with all our commendations, the committee also left us with recommendations and reflective points to follow-up on. Please take a moment to read the full WASC Visiting Commitee's report.
Also please find College Park's response to the Visiting Committee. This Critical Area Response will help to guide CP over the next six years (the term of our new accreditation).
Thank you to the teachers, staff, students, and parent community for your help in the WASC process.
In 2011, College Park underwent an extensive Western Association of Schools and Colleges accreditation process and earned a six year accreditation status with a 3 year mid cycle one day site review. At this accreditation level, CP was given an Action Plan to help guide its operations until the 3 year mid cycle review.
In 2014, College Park underwent the 3 year mid cycle one day WASC review. To prepare for the 3 year mid cycle one day site review, College Park submitted a self evaluation to the WASC review committee. This self evaluation can be viewed below. The WASC review committee used the College Park self evaluation report in conjunction with personal campus interviews with teachers, students and parents and wants to revisit College Park again later this year to verify our growth. College Park is fully accredited through June of 2017.

Dear Parents/Guardians,
The faculty and staff of College Park High School would like to invite you to attend WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) committee meetings to help us decide what changes need to be implemented to make College Park thrive. Though we have attained the California Distinguished School Award, “Falcons Fly High,” we want the best for our students.
What is WASC? The Western Association of Schools and Colleges is one of six official academic bodies responsible for the accreditation of public and private universities, colleges, secondary and elementary schools in the United States and foreign institutions of American origin.
If you are interested in joining our team please email Ms. Haider.
